Well as you sad ruben if you go directly psd to wp then yes it takes more time but if you have html version prepared for ongoing conversion then I guess he maybe right.
Your missing the point here, it’s not about comparison between separate categories, its about work time you spend, in the past you for example made 1 version of psd file and few colour schemes, now for example you have to make 10 versions of recent blog posts. And don’t get me started on creative part to actually get approved. Now html need more work cos of that. And lets not forget that wp and ecommerce categories got price lift. Don’t know about html but PSD did not.
It would be logical to go 5$ each up so really huge psd files get instead of 13 – $18 which is still peanuts if you think that this is most crucial work to get somewhere.
So in the end you spend 1 month + on PSD and earn basically change.
I am kind of tired seeing developers looking downwards on designers, but designers.
Aaaaaaaah congrats, that’s the dream.
Game of thrones…
all time favourite Stargate
Fantastic!!!! Spot on… the only point that once you mingle money in relations with time you find your self reducing the creativity, i remember the time i was working this as a hobby was much more creative.
Ivor, no one is pointing at you, but at the management, having 2 reviewers for this kind of community, hmmm… reviewers are on the front of the battlefront, weren’t there 3 of you a while back?
Well when we take a break or miss a support ticket, all hell bursts out with 1 star rating
This will surely add to more confusion.
Just an interesting observation, yet again a bit strange “no” approvals happening this morning (maybe i missed it). Now i don’t know what to think if this is good or not
