This discussion is ridiculous All write about music but nobody says about text and intonation. If it’s commercial cover, they must pay to Tim. If it’s remix they must pay to Tim. Do you read verses? ?hange in any verse one or even several words and try to sell it like own. If we don’t submit the claims that we will not have judicial precedent. And we will not earn. I don’t think that Tim stole as Nirvana
Would like to hear Tim’s opinion.I often find copying compositions but in this case I can’t keep silent. Tim’s significant for AJ if we-authors will not help each other and will not protect our rights that requirement of our music will be gone.
For example any NOT POOR company orders ad for central TV. Person who get this order, he resing your song. He get money but you nothing. And you eat their apples and create new song.=)))))
Listen to music in the video. At the beginning I’ve heard Tim McMorris song “It’s a Beautiful Day” ( http://audiojungle.net/item/its-a-beautiful-day/120089 ) ...but it’s not “Beautiful Day”....it’s a NEW song “It’s a Wonderful Day”
And how compose songs for ad in your country?=)))))
P.S. Good idea
