Total: $3774.96

This would be the direction I would go in. The total is very close to the 4K mark and as you’re buying parts not online the price might jump up a lot.

I chose parts that I have used and trust, I’m sure there are other brands out there that do the same or better for cheaper. Send me an email via my page and I’ll point you to the right websites if you need it:)

For cooling the beast can I recommend a Noctua NH-D14. Super amazing air cooler that is keeping my 5.2GHz 3770K under 100% load around 50 degrees.

Also I have a Fractal design refine R4 case which I adore. It has sound padding foam all around the inner and this does make a huge difference. It’s also not a flashy case like some…

Good luck!

So I know lots of you transfer tones of data constantly. After building my new PC I made sure I had a dedicated Ethernet line down to my NAS. Where footage usually gets stored en till I need it. One of the things I forgot to do when building was make sure I could easily pull stuff of memory cards – The internal card reader I had before was hella slow so I’m struggling to make the decision on the right reader.

Has anyone got any suggestions? Also how to you read/write data.
