Cool feature. Although, once again, it is useful mostly to ThemeForest people (remember, there are 7 more marketplaces )
However, I am always glad to see things evolving and improving around here.
And I agree with others, that this should eventually lead to implementation of tools to divide earnings between different authors on some and/or all items – collaboration tools. At least that’s what I hoped to see when I read this topic’s title.
Keep calm and always avoid clicking links in e-mail messages – just log in manually into your Envato account via (any of the) Envato website(s) and check your account settings – all important information, changes, and notifications are available at the author dashboard or in the Forums.

Aaaaand, that’s it!
looks like I will go with 3840×2160
I had the similar dilemma when I wanted to create first time-lapse in 4k. I finally settled to 3840×2160 because I couldn’t get above 4000pixels due to the camera limitations. After obtaining a better camera, I started creating in 4096×2304 – it is still 16:9, and it can be scaled down if needed.
I had the feeling that they will win it, after I saw them in their first game. Congratulations!
One word version: awesome!
Three words version: I can’t wait!
I agree with you on that – both rules/guidelines as well as upload form should be made more clear. Until now, I was convinced that the system automatically rejects submissions with main file larger than 1gb.
They tried to improve upload form a few months ago, but they only made it worse imho (thankfully the changes were not launched officially).
I suggest you to abandon your efforts, because the last time I asked (a few months ago), it was still not allowed to upload already approved files as part of a pack. It is confusing for us who come here from AudioJungle, because AudioJungle allows (and encourages) that, while VideoHive forbids.
Some people still do it, however – whether unknowingly or on purpose – and reviewers can’t control things like that, so something slips through occasionally…
If you ask me – it would be better to have shopping cart and some kind of system for discounts, rather than forcing authors to clutter their portfolios with packs.
