I’ll agree with what a few others said: choose Asus, because they are generally more reliable; I’ve heard so many bad experiences with MSI laptops (and other devices as well). At least that’s what I’d choose if I had these two options.
this looks great
one issue I’ve seen is that sometimes, if your connection is not fast, the video will start playing since you can hear the audio but the image preview of the item will remain on screen
you can’t see the video off courseMoving the mouse out then over the thumbnail again fixes this.
I was about to report the same.
Hi Waderman! Nice to see you around here (after seeing you around on AJ )
felt_tips summarized it well (as he always does) – there is no simple answer. I had a similar question a few weeks ago and after reading a few comments from VH authors, I decided to shoot in 30fps (actually, with my camera it’s 29.97fps, not 30fps). But don’t ask me why I chose that – I just did Maybe because of more information it contains.
EDIT: btw, here’s the thread I opened to ask this, 2 months ago. Maybe you’ll find it useful. http://videohive.net/forums/thread/recommended-fps-for-stock-footage/128425
For me it’s not who will win at the end, but who will prove to be an excellent (positive) surprise, like Ghana was 4 years ago: they were considered outsiders, but they made it quite far.
Anyway, despite the time-difference, this is going to be interesting summer
Ah Serbia I see. Not sure if this is valid, but would it be more cost effective to order the laptop online with more options? Or would it cost even more? Not sure as I’m from the US
It usually is a bit more cost-effective to order online, but there aren’t much options for customization, as these computer hardware stores mainly order certain laptop configurations and not much can be changed.
Anyway, we’re going offtopic. I just wanted to as for your opinions on how problematic the scaling-down would be for me if I got a smaller resolution display. That was my biggest dilemma. After I decide(d) about that, it will be quite easy to find the computer to suit my needs
There were many discussions like this one in the past. And there never was an official statement, or if there was, it was not against this, or – as you see – nothing was done regarding this issue.
Just think about it – everybody has access to these forums, even new users. And these forum topics are great testimonials which bring in new authors. I don’t think that’s something Envato would like gone.
