Wow! Didn’t expect a hard rejection! Did you upload the song exactly as in your preview or did you alter it according to some suggestions here (reverb etc…)
Keep up uploading new stuff!
My bestseller is Something Big Is Coming
Logic 9 Pro, quite happy so far for years now – except of how it communicates with Kontakt as far as CPU multicore usage is concerned. Kontakt in standalone mode can use multiple cores much much better than in Logic – no matter how you set it up. (Have also tried Cubase 7 but seems to be pretty much the the same… So it may be a Kontakt issue…)
I’m ranked 239 on Audiojungle. Not too bad, actually… Have expected something in the thousands , actually.
Yes! I would definitely upload that song here! I agree about the missing reverb on the flute-thingy, though (maybe even a bit of overall reverb to the whole mix). Maybe you could offer two versions: One with – one without that “stormy wind” noise in the background. I could imagine that this could be a bit disturbing for the one or the other usage (imagine this song under an eastern documentary where there is beautiful weather )
Good luck! Marco
Congrats! Wonderful track with a great atmosphere! Love your portfolio – high quality stuff!
Alrighty! So he is my lucky replacement this week! (I had the pleasure last week ) Congrats and I wish him a lot of sales (hopefully more than I had ) July isn’t surely the best month – but make the best out of it!!!
Keep up the great work, Althoff! Marco
I don’t see why this has to be a one sided coin. i personaly have done the oposite. I picked a video for my track to display it on my item page, and i only contacted the videohive author to give him the link.(and he liked it)...
That’s a good idea actually! Shouldn’t be too annoying for any videohive author, I guess I’m lucky being able to create 3D stuff and After Effects animations on my own and will hopefully find some time to create my own videohive projects soon
