Yes bootstrap templates / themes tend to sell better because people feel that it will be easier to customise if they know the framework.

I tried different frameworks and even complete custom CSS, but unfortunately these items didn’t sell well here. Bootstrap is not my favourite, but it’s definitely a buyer’s favourite here!

These sections need more padding top/bottom to be able to breathe better.

Typography and color palette are a bit messed up, as manuelvega has mentioned above.

Is this an item you have been trying upload a couple of times already and got hard rejected?

I think if you get a hard reject and you re-submit a similar work, they will at some point just remove the upload.

I cannot confirm this is true, but this sure is how the canned hard-reject e-mail sounds like.. “Your item does not meet the minimal quality standards and cannot be re-submitted”.

Not always true Simon I rather purchase. Theme that fits what I need more than buying a theme that has mass features and so on. I don’t think I am alone here

I am the same. We are part of the remaining 5% :)

funny how the interest raises instantly when you put up a decent budget.

Most threads like that end up in “we have a budget of $40 – $50 for that”.

:)

yeah .. but we know how much work it is to design a great layout with up to 10 templates. and if you work one or two weeks on the design .. i think this is a fair price for both.

and if someone tell me “hey i can create such a design for you for 500$ with 5 templates”, then i know this is a bad quality and we`re searching for a really high skilled designer :)

I wish more people would understand that and think like you :)

Good luck finding someone and good luck with the project!

At the end of the day buyers will look for different things:

- Some will look for simplicity and functionality.

- Some will look for mass features and options.

—> After realising they are priced the same, 95% of buyers will purchase the theme with mass features and options, regardless of how fast / simple the small niche theme is. They will go for value for money.

+1 with what CreativeKingdom has said.

There are so many people that want to make it to ThemeForest that it’s really hard to believe in the quality of your work without actually seeing a demo.

You may be an amazing talent, but without visual proof, let alone a profile avatar, you just look like every other guy who wants to be in the ThemeForest spotlight but cannot make it happen.

Please don’t take my message the wrong way – i am not trying to be rude or anything, but rather to provide some useful feedback.

You’ll find my contact form on my profile page if you want to send me a sample of your work – i will let you know if that would fit the ThemeForest HTML category in my opinion.

Have a nice week end! :)

It’s like eating a pizza that didn’t fit your taste, then wanting to “un-buy” the pizza.

Technically, envato issues refunds on specific occasions, but “didn’t fit my needs” will not lead you to a refund.

I guess you understand that once you downloaded a digital asset – there is no way to just “give it back”, so it’s understandable that a refund cannot be issued like when returning t-shirt in a clothing shop.

Maybe you can use it later for another project! :)
