Thanks for contributing such valuable post Gareth! same to Jhunger
It’s great that top sellers share opinion on the forums and discuss their point of views about how they see the Audiojungle biz. I would recommend any starting authors to read all the Gareth’s posts here in Audiojungle forum. Maybe not rebecca black stuff but all in all
Yeah ‘pinkzebra’ and ‘de_signs’ have strong portfolio and there is a lot of learning from them
I also would add ‘thesecession’ – from June2011 he has already harvested 117 sales. Definetely future top seller IMHO
Got our guitarist to vote too lol – Better do some cool music for sale with new Sonokinetic products
Still waiting some über Aura-dressing to appear on your portfolio
unless Card Dance has somthin I couldnt recognize. We had our first Aura spiced song online today
It’s quite obvious when people who have plenty of sales says frontpage exposure isnt a big deal but for newcomers without any customerbase it is crucial way to get something happen
. Our first track was online 4th of July and since then we have had uploaded constantly new stuff. We have got 60 sales so far. It isn’t much but least over average of 1 sale/day. Still I believe it woulda been less if we woulda shot all the files online at the same time. Front page exposure is a hyperlink to author’s page too so if that song doesn’t instant appeal to potential buyer he might check other content of the author.
According to analytics.envato.com only time our file gets +10 hits is the time it has been on front page. Since then most of the files drop down to 0-1hits. There are over 27000 music tracks now on Audiojungle. 30 keywords and description won’t make the anonymous song from anonymous composer a hit. There are a huge amount of hidden gems here in Audiojungle from 2008 – 2009 which doesn’t have any sales though they woulda sell if they could get second chance to get exposure. I have listened a lot of tracks to analyze what would sell etc, keywording, descriptions and many times I hear superb track with zero sales which are few years old. Then I check the keywords and run few searches and usually have to crouch tens of pages before that particular track appears on the search list page.
Cool, nice atmosphere, voted! Guaranteed De_signs quality
Congratulations! Killer tracks
Wishing you a lot of sales and entertaining time here in AJungle
ride on!
Supacool! Congratulations!
and 104 already- nice job!

It is better to sell good since it is now on frontpageYou are so naive, my friend:))it seems that competition for TRAX takes a tragicomic turn:)DarkSunz is now featured author on the front page and the song you posted is one of the three songs from featured author’s showcase. Since featured he has got aroundish 50 sales i recall. I think the sales were 157 and now risen to 200 which shows the power of featured author
We decided not to attend on TRAX since so far Melodality and Tim Mcmorris owns it hands down
All in all negativity doesn’t get anything done. So I prefer positivity and the cup is always half full
There is great article http://blog.alexpfeffer.net/?p=299 about winning and losing composer

I’ve been watching it to see how much difference it makes and it’s really hits or miss. The last author barely had any movement at all. same with ProTunes when he was there.
Yes that’s true too. I usually take screengrabs from author pages i monitor so it is easy to compare like starting of featured author day and the ending of the week etc.
