Allegro120 saidI’ve heard it many times but I really can’t see how does it make a difference. It’s like saying that if an AJ author puts a link to a VH author then the latter will prosper form that moment on… I have many works used by VH authors, I really can’t see any change in sales before and after.
But for me the most important is Videohive, if an author Videohive top includes a track yours … you can say that your life will change.
Well, we made a christmas logo for Christmas 2011… it sold aroundish 5 times… Then there was this superpopular Videohive-project using it Christmas 2012… it sold +200 times… so buyers just thought that let’s dig sooo deep pile of Christmas logos and buy this one… nope
point is that there needs to be like luck on item getting on videohive-project which has some luck to sell a lot which helps AJ-item to sell a lot and so on….
Usually our tracks in Videohive -items have 1 – 5 or 1 – 6 ratio meaning for every 5 Videohive-project our track sells once.
adjust the watermark enough and you get soft reject watermark being too low
+1 Totally missed this but yes this would be useful since for example making music pack is currently PITA. Files are already uploaded so why not using them + faster workflow. (disclaimer we do hate manual watermarking too)
Here´s a little Nerd joke for you. Sorry
A nerd was walking on campus one day when his friend, another nerd, rode up on an incredible shiny new bicycle. The first nerd was stunned and asked, “Where did you get such a nice bike?” The second nerd replied, “Well, yesterday I was walking home minding my own business when a beautiful woman rode up to me on this bike. She threw the bike to the ground, took off all her clothes and said, ’Take what you want!’”
The second nerd nodded approvingly and said, “Good choice. The clothes probably wouldn’t have fit.”
Here is our Valentine’s Day song: http://audiojungle.net/item/valentines-day/1385140
To get decent sales with low amount of tracks you need support of Videohive-projects. There isn’t much of new artists who have lot of sales without their tracks being on some popular Videohive-projects.
