Hi, is there anyone wanting to earn a little extra with a little freelance singing? I have been writing music for a writer/publisher and need a vocalist for a song. It’s not yet written but will be soon. I will be wanting to do this over the web so you can be anywhere. The only prerequisite is that you are a native English speaker, have access to high quality microphones and recording gear.

I’ve had experimental tracks rejected, rightly I think. The idea of this site, in my opinion, being ‘commercial is king’. If there are too many tracks classified as being ‘niche’ then it’ll be even harder for customers to find what they want and you’ll see even more people going to the popular files. Simply because it’s easier. If customers are anything like me, that is bloody busy, then I’ll want to be saving some time…..........

No way…. I had already thought this. But, I don’t think it’s that big an issue. There is a commercial aspect too I guess… Most buyers will be wanting English. Perhaps for some of the more elusive languages I.e. Burmese, Vietnamese I can see this as problematic but Itailan and the more mainstream languages should be allowed. I mean, Italian has commercial appeal… It is considered to be a romantic language… I thought anyway. I can see the argument from both sides but am not going to write an essay here

Yup, I don’t get why you cannot do this. It is not a big deal, which is why I just assumed you would be able to do it and fix up the file to download in the same way you would when adding any extra files.
