I think people who handle Envato Support are not trained in this particular field – they have no experience with themes and how things works – what is serious issue and what is just some misunderstanding or minor bug – and that’s causing problems with soft-disabling – they disable everything just because someone complained.

I was about to start the same thread – closing this one http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/envato-your-softdisable-action-is-unprofessional/129427 was just bad decision, and I’m really dissapointed with the last post there by contrastblack. The issue remains and no one seems to care except telling general slogans like ‘we will be bringing up the feedback with the appropriate Staff’ – yet this problem is present since a long time

If two Power Elite Authors one by one complain about it, I don’t know what else is there to show it’s real and serious problem

+1 to this, we need to see some reply from staff in that thread. I’ve also have experience with ridiculous reasons behind soft disable. That’s not how you should handle it Envato.

There is this limit http://support.envato.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/215/40/limits-on-file-downloads

but I also never experienced it, and I’m pretty sure I’ve download RevolutionSlider at least 200x times ;)

Hi Justin, I think one reason that you think its not worth your while is that Ticksy is very cheap at the moment. I am surprised it covers your hosting.

So why don’t you charge a little bit more and add some long-awaited features and be done with it.

With version 2, I don’t think there are many stuff left to be done.

Exactly, I’ve always said I wouldn’t mind paying more for it. I wonder how many users Ticksy has, let’s say around 100? So 100×5 is just 500$ where probably half goes to hosting, make it 100*20 and it starts to look good as some semi-passive income source.

Anyway, I’m waiting for your decision Justin, I shiver thinking about looking for new support system..

If you quadruple the price, I wouldn’t expect to keep all 100 users.

People flip out from $5 price increases for entire themes.

But here target is ThemeForest authors – people who need support forum ( and probablyare already hiring someone to help them with support ) have money for it – 20$ is still less than you get from selling 1 theme

I received 2 stars rating recently that said:
Extra comments from the buyer: Nice theme, but it isn’t designed for newbies. I miss Enfold theme editor.
That hurts :D
