Ticksy is in maintenance mode at the moment. There will be a series of bug fixes and minor updates but for now no new features are planned. There are a little over 100 support requests in Ticksy’s support system that I will be weeding through and dealing with the major bugs that have arisen. I want Ticksy to work well for those that still use it, and we have a lot of fans that have been disappointed as of late. I do apologize for that.
Thanks Justin for info. I admit I talked already with Sam about his solution for support, and I’m gonna try it for my upcoming theme, see how it will work, but I still love ticksy and want to use it. Please add option to update credit card info. My card is expiring next month and I want to change it! And I’m not the only one with that problem

For us, this easy solution would work best:
1) Buy item with support (get all updates and can ask questions)
2) Buy item without support (get all updates but can’t ask questions)I think the 6 month time limited support just confuses everyone.

2) Buy item with basic support (get all updates and fix issues/bugs caused by theme)
purethemes saidI’ve forwarded them on to our product guys and while they won’t be reversing or tweaking the change at this stage (given it’s an experiment and we want to see how it goes first), they’ll definitely take them into consideration for future iterations as well as related projects such as buyer education and sustainable item support.

Thanks, If I have your attention already could you please clarify how the process actually works? Who install the themes, does it go to selected providers from Envato Studio?
The truth is, all of them.
I have not given anyone apart from the person who purchased the item to have access to a theme.
These people are having our theme for free whilst profiting from our work.
We actually offer installation and customisations, and now some profits will be lost on our own themes.
Installation services exists for a long time on Envato Studio https://studio.envato.com/explore/wordpress-installation – it’s nothing new. If someone buys your theme, why shouldn’t he be allowed to pay someone else to install that theme?. However the person who installs it for a fee is not allowed to keep that theme and use it in any way. (But the reality might be different as we know)
Does anyone went through the process after clicking this ‘Install Theme’? I wonder if there’s a list of people who offer this service or it is invisible for user and just goes to queue for selected providers. Who actually is doing the installation?
