@myjilson

Try to clear all cache and use super reload (Ctrl + F5). I got same problem before with my FF4 , but it’s fixed now. :)

Also see this http://www.screenresolution.org/ and don’t feel too bad, there are more and even our buyer might have same problem with screen resolution.
Check the popup menu too :)
On my Macbook it’ cuts the bottom of the pop-out off…. definitely needs fixing. Maybe making in to three smaller columns?

yeah it should be changed to a 3 column pop-out :)

Nice sharing Matu :)

Now it’s my turn. I had a blog which deals with the inspirational designing stuffs and so. I just tried to sell that through flippa.com. I got that site sold out for $500. They buyer told me that he paid the amount via the escrow.com and it will take some time to reach in your account. unfortunately that was my first experience with the escrow. He told me to transfer all the domain and hosting details immediately so that he can do some with that, ( I don’t really remember what he said there :D ) otherwise he will complain to flippa. He also showed me the screenshot of the escrow payment processing along with some other domain transactions. (that was a clean photoshop trick ). I just believed him and transferred the details. Now he got the site deails and I got nothing in my hand. Really —- up :)

I havn’t got any payment from him for that site. I contacted him again and again and he said the transaction is in progress. I went to the flippa authorities about this, but they said there is nothing that they can do with this :(

So no money + No web site :(

I contacted the buyer many times and there were no responses from him for at least 3 months. Then I tried to make a mail something like matu written. That worked perfectly. He returned the site back after 3 months :) I was very happy that I got my site back :)

That guy is till alive in flippa and working through many different personal accounts. So if you are going to sell your website, please make sure that you got all the payments confirmed. Only then transfer the domain details even if the buyer makes what ever comments. Trust me … I got EXPERIENCES rather than MONEY :)

This question has been asked so may times already, and this only shows how authors get frustrated over time and maybe most of them even give up at the end been author at envato. I have been providing so many ideas for free on this topic, I really could make an blueprint of amazing ideas of what you can do with rejected items and sell it…i am sure i would make more money with this guide than making money with my items i have on GR LOL .

...but since we are friendly community and like to help eachother, here is my next free tip. Instead of trying to decode the reviewer’s `Sory, your item doesnt meet our quality guidelines…blah-blah…` message for days and figure out what are in reality this quality guidelines, you can directly ignore reviewer’s `improvement recomendaddtions` and still make money from your rejected file. Here is how:

Things you need:

  • 1. bunch of rejected items
  • 2. a website to publish your item(s) (idealy you have your own website or blog for this)
  • 3. nice and conviencing sales letter (a few sentences describing your item(s)
  • 4. paypal account
  • 5. Fiverr.com account

The Fiverr method:

  • 1. Collect a few rejected items from the same type and create your own bundle of items
  • 2. Create a nice presentation preview image of your bundle
  • 3. Create a post on your blog or website with detailed description of the item and make sure to add the item presentation image
  • 4. Go to your Fiverr.com account and create a gig in the `Graphics` category, describe what is your item about and how can be used
  • 5. In your Fiverr listing, include a link to your post of your bundle on your blog or website, this way potential buyers can visit the post and see exactly what you offer
  • 6. Start making money of your rejected items…happy end!

7. (not necessary, but i recommend it) Repeat the same method with other MicroJobs sites similar to Fiverr.com, get more sales.

additionaly, if you already have some items in your GR portfolio, you can also feature them on your blog or website. Visitors coming from Fiverr.com will see them…this may lead to sales of items you have at GR. Make sure you have your referral ID inserted, so you can make extra money from referring buyers to envato. If you are experienced IMer, you would want to cloack your Affiliate links :D

This is really nice :) Thanks for sharing !!!

lol yer. what sorta resolution is that?

Rediculous response, really. Don’t fix the problem, we’ll all just buy bigger monitors!

If only it were that easy, we could tell our users to just download a different browser when we have inconsistencies.

I had the same feeling when I got these kind of responses from 2 of the Community Moderators :(

Marketplace have new look. But does anyone notice the navigation at left doesnt work properly with low screen size. When you click the first icon (envato logo) you can’t see the lower icons then “webdesigntuts”.. And there is no scroll available. Is that a bug? cause it should be fit for each screen size or there should be a slider or something.

I already got that :)

Also found another problem. Check that too.

Also met yet another problem here: Check the top right side of this window. The black portion is gone beneath the search bar and the rest of the top menu icons. :(

This is happened when I tried to make the window to the right side of the screen by dragging into that side. (You know that feature in the Windows 7 I think :) )
