Oh I was wrong. I’am sorry lol
Hello, You have to raise a ticket with support for that. We can’t change it from our settings.
Been looking at all the top selling authors and it seems the top selling category is corporate and motivational. I have been making more of these tracks. A lot that are in the pop and other type categories don’t seem to do as well.
No problem. I’m sure you will get your sale very soon. Just never give up man.
To be honest I’ve never tried the tagging thing but from what I’ve heard its really good for promotion and repeat business. I think I’m going to do it with all my future tracks. I really like your track Following Our Dreams. I think it has a nice happy feel to it and I’am surprised its not sold as of yet.
Thank you everyone
Thanks everyone:) I’ve been on here for well over a year and was beginning to think my music was not good enough. But it really has gave me a a buzz and yes you have to enjoy making or you lose the drive.
I recently uploaded a new track called Happy Motivational and logged on today to see my first sale. Such a good feeling seeing that. I guess everyone got that feeling when they sold their first track. Its gave me such a boost to keep going
I’m not sure if I’ve actually had any sales from Soundcloud, but I’ve certainly had click-throughs, as they’re registering in my affiliate stats.
it doesn’t hurt to use it, upload a watermarked track and add it to the Audio Jungle group.I;ve been trying YouTube lately, but can’t say that’s been much use.
Thank you for your reply. Okay i will look into posting into the audio jungle sound cloud.Yeah i’m gonna give youtube a try too see how that goes. Thanks again
Hello, couple of things:
Right off the bat I can tell you should use Lots More Keywords in the Title, Description & Tags The main keywords you target need to be in the Title as well as in the description and tags. Think long and hard (and I know this is really boring compared to actually making music) to find keywords that are less searched but give you more (niche) visibility. For example the ‘Pop’ keyword is just way too huge to tackle IMO.
Your tracks are fine.
Personally I stopped using soundcloud as I believe close to 0 potential customers are there, only other musicians. Therefore I focus all my efforts on Youtube and more recently Twitter.Good luck
Thanks for the advice. I will be looking at better keywords. Really appreciated
