well, if the focus is switched to exclusive authors only and non-exlusive authors like me are just excluded or at bottom of the search queries, then all what what is said about quality items, consisent uploading, promoting etc is just bu**it
after about 1 year AJ was doing well for me and i thought i was growing (i’m approaching 300 sales…). i was enthusiast and i planned to make more song for AJ, i had ideas on how to promote my portfolio and so on… but the last two months completely turned off the hype.
if this hypothesis is true, not only they pay us much less than exclusive authors, but they are also fooling us about our place here. if things will not change in the next months, i just wonder why i should continue to invest my time here instead of focusing on other places…
Sorry to be negative here, but again, quite the contrary for me.
Yet another below average month..long stretches go without sales, new (marketable and useful) uploads not getting much action. Once very high, regular selling tracks, reduced to almost nothing. And what happened to Tuesdays being the highest selling time of the week?
Just goes to show how quickly things can change here and how it’s not all up, up, up. What makes it harder to swallow however, is when others are revelling in tremendous sales, yet I feel my account is failing and no longer growing how it once was. Quite demoralising really. I guess this is all part of the business and I’m now getting a taste of that, as I’m sure others are too.
No priority given to non-exclusives any more? Search engine or Google changes impacting sales? Drop in quality of uploads?? Arrival of new stiff competition?? I honestly don’t know any more. Given up the ghost on that one.Need to make some adaptive manoeuvres to cover my ass here. VideoHive here I come! (to sell, not to spam, that is)
i completely understand your feelings… i’m in the same situation the only positive thing is that i’m not exclusive to Audiojungle…
low sales trend is continuing… after a record october-november-january, with more than 20 tracks sold, february and march seem dead.
awesome!!!! i wish i could do that!
Maybe this ambient collectionhttp://audiojungle.net/collections/2146576-ambient-and-soundscapes
If you are on a budget i would add Garritan Instant Orchestra. it’s a good starting point for cinematic sounds
almmusic said... sorry to recover this old thread… but i could not resist! the “happy clappy didgeridoo” is actually one thing that i could try…. since now i’ve got the didgeridoo too! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stFmzamdtqA
What about some happy clappy didgeridoo? Surely there’s an untapped market here

congratulations! i’m at 296 right now… hope to reach 300 soon!
