I recently listened to a “tarantella” on youtube, a traditional music from south Italy. I got the idea to play something in this style, so I found a score by someone called L. Criscuolo e tried it with mandolin and guitar. here it is!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gc8WxH26hHo
hope you enjoy it!
i have komplete 8 and i’m very tempted about 9 ultimate update. but it’s about 350 euro… not so cheap, indeed… and i don’t know if i can justify it given the small earn from royalyfree music. but it can be really i nice toy. i’m not sure i’ll need everything that is included. the kontakt libraries (expecially damage) seems very cool, but i really don’t know how much i will use all the stuff! :-/
btw: the HDD included cannot be used to stream the kontakt library, just for the install. you will need another drive to place the samples.
... come on buyers, help me buy the update!
I agree… It would be useful to edit the submission once submitted!
thanks for sharing this. i completely agree to your conclusions, and i have similar results to yours! the drawback is the effort to promote the different accounts. of course focusing on just one market would be easy but being non-exclusive means that there are months in which you sell more on one and less on the other… at least you are averaging on multiple places
maybe there is a way to exclude a particular keyword?
i saw it and enjoyed! nice music!
This evening i tried to record / improvise something with the orchestral template i recently built. It is a setup made in sonar 8.5, with more than 250 tracks. It comprises more or less every library i get (which actually are not so much): kontakt 5 orchestra and percussions, garritan personal orchestra, garritan instant orchestra, miroslav, rare instruments, some percussion from early patches, some instruments from komplete 8 (battery, african percussions). i have also recently bought an SSD drive in which i store my main libraries, that speeds up the loading time very much…
I began with the percussion track and i began to add stuff on the top… i ended up with 8 epic bars. I hope you like it… there is room for improvement and to build a “real” song in a trailer style. need some time to do this!
i recognize that having a template really speeds up the work a lot!
tell me your thought and comments!https://soundcloud.com/bosone-2/first-orchestral-template-experiment-trailer-music
for now i arranged it as a loop
Also having your songs used by successful videohive authors helps or having your song featured on main page.
Yeah, that’s the #1 in my rating. But the most difficult is to “convince” or find someone from VH to use you music. Any promotion in this sense was useless for me! My songs used in VH projects were all found by authors i never contacted before…
actually I feel that if you don’t have the right followers facebook or twitter are pretty useless (according to my experience!) i still did not figure out how to properly promoting my music so i don’t have any useful clue!
