I apologize if it sounded that way. Would you think I’m such an awful person that I don’t have respect for other Envato marketplaces? Let me start over: I wouldn’t start learning PHP by immediately buying tutorials that have specific objectives and goals such as the ones in the tuts plus marketplace. I would personally start with the themeforest php videos (part of Envato as well) that I wrote about in my previous post, net tuts plus (also part of Envato) php tutorials (premium account tutorials included), and then move on to more specific tutorials such as the ones on the tutsplus marketplace.

Not showing enough gratitude or support for what Envato and the Marketplaces offer to customers and to their authors as well is not something that I’m about.

No sound monitors yet unfortunately. Still using Creative 2.1 speakers. Not professional at all, but at least I’ve grown accustomed to their sound. Thinking of buying a pair of mid-budget KRK ones once my savings allow me to.

Unfortunately the military service is mandatory and from what it seems, it’s going to be for a long time. The good part is that I will go for 9 months (the smallest military service duration here – they say that it will go up again to 12 months) @cloud9communication, thanks, see you next year, I hope I could manage to create an app for the iPhone too!

Of course! I didn’t say you shouldn’t ask questions I just said that if you have many questions, you could open a big thread where you can ask lots of stuff

I don’t think it improves your sales dramatically. Sales come mainly through the good music in my opinion. It probably helps though to keep a good image and layout on your portfolio and to include links and pics under tracks to similar items or collections of yours.

You could open a specific personal thread and include all your questions there, without having to open a new thread every time.
