Thanks Phil!!! I really like this guy, Graham. I follow his youtube channel: The Recording revolution. It is very interesting and you can learn a lot of stuffs there. But there is something even better than that: this guy is running a website named Dueling mixes… The idea is that every month they upload the complete stems of a song for you to mix, and Graham and the other guy mix the same song, and upload a video explaining every decision they made while mixing. This has improve my mixing a lot! So if you guys can, check it out!
Congrats to Gareth!!!
THanks for posting this.. I never imagined that FB has this kind of policy… Shame on you FB!!!
Never heard of it before!! Amazing! Thanks for sharing!!!!
Now the beats do have some added bass eq wizadry going on (As the article states), but I think thats because theyre coming from a hip-hop production background maybe, and its not excessive Maybe its the sentimentality because they were a gift from my bro, but I’ve got plenty of time for em. In fact it bugs me a bit when I hear “professionals” writing them off completely. A kind of techno snob-ism going on.
+10000 I completely agree with you..They indeed have some extra beef in the bass zone, but I definitely like how they sound.
I just read this article on CNN by Todd Leopold about how the Beats headphones were born and how they have evolved to become a trend. I agree with that, but it is a fair statement to say that beats changed the audio world??
And by the way, any of you guys use them in your studio or just to listen to music while at the gym or something..?
