You should be ready for about 2000+ visits per day for a theme on the homepage, shared hosting is fine as long as you’re cached well etc.

Bare in mind though, paying for good hosting means your theme will be faster, and you’ll probably get more sales because of that.

Don’t just go for the cheapest you can find, do your research, if you ask on these forums you’ll likely be pointed to asmallorange that a lot of authors are happy with :)

Try not to let annoyance lead to sending mis-information.

I hope support get back to you asap :)
misinformation ? submitted on early thursday its monday afternoon. seems like an educated guess. not misinformation.

It’s easy to cherry-pick quotes and miss out part of what I’d said, saying that “contacting Envato support is no help”, especially in terms of a refund is mis-information.

Whether the wait times are long or short, the only answer is to contact Envato support.

You’ll also notice that I’m on your side when I said that the support time from Envato is too long, and that I hope they sort you out quickly. Why do I bother I guess?

You may submit a ticket here: https://support.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
doesnt seem to help does it. unless they take 4 day weekends in australia.

Whilst you may be annoyed at your own wait time with Envato Support (they should be faster than they are) this certainly does help, as contacting Envato Support is the only way of obtaining a refund.

Try not to let annoyance lead to sending mis-information.

I hope support get back to you asap :)

I don’t like how people make fun of PHP but at the end they run a site written in PHP and make a money using it for clients.

+1, every time there’s something like this you can guarantee PHP gets the same treatment as well

I think this may be the reviewer being a little overzealous, that’s a great looking theme, soft reject, yeah I’d understand that, you can definitely polish it a little more, but hard reject is a bit much.

I’d just try working on some of the details a bit, maybe consider if that background image really adds to the theme, and then re-submit.

EDIT: work on your forms styling a bit, looks a little average at the moment.

I believe he means it is like 99designs because there is no guarantee of any compensation for the effort a developer would put in. You say equity, what if the brand is a complete fail, the time that a developer puts in goes to waste.

Exactly, it’s like 99designs because it’s people who want something for nothing, and are then willing to pay (in terms of equity return) if it works, yet the developer gets jack if it fails.

Maybe 99designs isn’t the best example, but you know what I mean.

If people are doing work, they should be paid properly, unless they’re interning, in which case they should receive adequate payment in terms of professional training (and still be paid), I hate this culture that’s being created that everyone should work on an idea for free until it works.

Thats why I posted it in Global Off topic and my link is verifiable. I am not spamming since I clearly know the rules. I am just merely asking for advice. This is nothing like 99 designs.

As I said, I apologise if the forum review approves your post, but considering your link actually opened my email client instead of the site, I assume you were going for referrals and did it wrong.

Here’s my advice: The site is exactly like 99 designs, work for free basically.

EDIT: By “these forums” I meant the overall Envato Forums, not just the sub-forum chosen.
