Hello everyone! I’m looking to do a few extremely basic websites that play sounds instantly upon the press of a “button” similar to how you see on http://SadTrombone.com

There’s definitely a lot of talent here, so I’m hoping someone here can help me out with doing some sort of simple script that allows me to create these buttons on the fly that can be embedded in the site, likely using Flash… but the variables of each button are referenced in HTML of the index page or something since I don’t have any Flash experience. Unless you can think of a simpler way of course!

As far as the functionality and variables, I would like the ability to place multiple buttons (multiple sounds) on a single page, each button has customizable images with 3 states (normal state, on mouse over, and clicked), and play an assigned .mp3 audio file when clicked.

Is this possible?

Please get back to me!

Thank you! Right now, I don’t have any synth multisamples uploaded. I do intend on doing it though.

Everything I have up right now is just single shot synth fx.

@scottwills Of course! Unfortunately it is “me” that is infringed upon all too often! Been doing sound synthesis for nearly 13 years! :) I have plans of going nuts uploading stuff! Unfortunately, it’s a bit laborious adding samples, but understandable for tagging and description purposes, etc!

@danielku Synth Multisamples are samples of a particular hardware synthesizer programmed sound, recorded in various keys, and plotted in a software sampler. Mimicking a hardware synth in a software environment. A quick google search found this great little article describing multisamples and how to do it. http://djmixsource.com/multisampling1.htm

Thank you for the warm welcome guys! You’ll see TOO MUCH of me! (in a good way) I promise! ;)

Do you guys have any intent of possibly adding a category specifically meant for Synthesizer Multisamples?

I think that could be a huge benefit, and something a lot of producers may be looking for. Many don’t have the $$ to purchase a hardware device, but would be willing to drop a few bucks on a multisample package that they could plot in their favorite sampler.

If I’m missing it, I’m sorry! Still very new here, and just uploaded my first samples last night! :)
