Ideally, Envato should create OAuth Single-Sign-On login system (just the one that Facebook, GitHub e.t.c have), so we’ll be able to login the buyer to support forum and verify the purchase without this confusing “purchase code” story.
It’s not a secret that supporting through comments is a mess, if item is popular.
You just need to loop through content of each post in database and do a string replacement. It’s not hard or time-consuming work for PHP developer, the WordPress has even regular expression to find and parse shortcodes http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_shortcode_regex
There is also a plugin – http://forteweb.us/shortcode-cleanup-plugin/ , but I haven’t tried it.
Oh, it would be so great if we had an option to see how many and when the customer bought the product(s).
If you’re using touchend just to speed up click event, you might consider looking into this library – https://github.com/ftlabs/fastclick
Also, avoid using this
'ontouchend' in document ? 'touchend' : 'click', as if the device has both touch support and some other control (e.g. mouse), mouse won’t work.
