Unfortunately there can’t be done anything about unfair ratings right now. That’s a big issue in my opinion, but for now you’ll have to just deal with it. We all experience unfair 1-star rating for reasons like ‘it’s downloading slow’ and other things that the author has no fault.

I think you got the whole ‘change’ thing wrong. All it is about is that when a buyer pays with PayPal, the extra $2 go directly to Envato, unlike before, when it got separated between envato and the author. No changes about earnings rates.

If it was something like the Marvel logo, I’m pretty sure someone reported it and it’s gone. But I’ll look around for it anyway.

EDIT: Something like it: http://videohive.net/item/multi-image-logo-reveal/7229095

Yes, very typical music indeed. When I saw this I immediately though it might be from Audiojungle. Although I hope it’s not, because IKEA can easily afford to pay a fair sum to the author.

Well, maybe they paid a fair sum to some dude who just downloaded the track from AJ and claimed credit ;)

~3 days sounds awesome, I’ll make sure to post something soon :)
Am I the only one who thinks that the old system – “You are 5th out of 78” was the best?

it’s prohibited create a tunnel video with any kind of element. alright cool. I quit.

I refuse to believe that you fail to understand felt’s point. This is ridiculous.

I’ve talked with audiojungle author , and I told him that I’m going to use his track for my motion graphics, and He is very much like to it.

I’m sorry but this has nothing to do with the problem here. You indirectly asked what’s wrong with your item. Well, it’s a copy of another author’s item with a minor change. I can think of a hundred ways to create a tunnel video without stepping on the toes of another author.

Cheers

Why not give that reason???

Because then we will have threads like “Upload Queue New Record – 16 Days!”.
Whenever it is soft rejected you are always given a reason for it, so you can fix it.
In case of a hard reject however you’ll have to pretty much change the whole project as far as I know.

In this case of E3D, it makes it just unnecessary for those who were ethical enough to buy a license but are restricted to use it in all parts of their work.

I was one of the souls who bought E3D and it was a big bummer when I found out about the pre-render thing. I never came around to make a project file with it. I still don’t get how an animation that your create with your own 3D models and stuff can fall under the license of some other dude. Imagine if all the 3dsmax and cinema renders had the same thing.
However, I just found out from this thread that Shockwave is an actual footage gallery, and obviously not a plugin like.. Let’s say ‘Particular’ which acts like a creation tool. In this matter I can see why OP posted this thread and I guess he has the rights to question it. It’s like using a Digital Juice Fire footage as a pre-render and selling it here with the project.

Hey Wobblefin.

VideoHive has a lot, and I mean a lot of good authors here, who are constantly raising the quality bar of the projects. The market here doesn’t have any quality requirements that are set in stone. The quality bar is always rising. I’ve said it before – some of the items that were best sellers couple of year ago, would be hard rejected nowadays.

It may sound a bit harsh but your work will be compared to the top quality works here and if the quality gap is too big… hard reject. It probably doesn’t look fair to some authors, but I find it kind of inspiring. It pushes you to evolve… To evolve with the market and grow as a designer.
I had some items rejected and I was in denial at first, but later I’ve come to realize that the reviewer was actually right, my projects could have been improved and they could have been done better. Absolutely the same goes for my approved projects.

to see if i can create a project that is not only super complicated but beautiful, clean, sharp, fresh, unique, complicated, complicated, simple yet complicated, SUPER FULL HD 7000fps, lots of colors, doesn’t require any plugins oh and of course is under 1gb in size!

I hope you’re joking and you realize that the rejection has nothing to do with those things.
