Don’t upload it just to upload something new if you are not sure whether you are satisfied with it or not.

Don’t worry, it takes time for the sales to arrive consistently. At the beginning it feels like you need to get stuff out often to keep yourself visible. I used to think you could only get sales when you have an item on the first page or so of the category you put it in… but as I got more stuff out there, it got to a point where for the last 3 month I uploaded practically nothing new (been really busy with exams) but still got around 20 to 30 sales every month and growing! (so I’m really excited for the summer when I’ll have plenty time to produce lots more tracks! :D )

The more items on your portfolio the more sales.. exponentially since every track is like a link to more of your tracks. Also, the more a track sells the more it becomes visible and the more it will sell.. that’s why it takes a lot of time but eventually things start to roll.

Just remember to not rush things to have a lot of tracks out! Because for this snowball effect to work the tracks need all be the best you can do!

Thanks! :D And what do you think regarding if its more common for buyers to find one of your tracks individually by tag search or by looking through your portfolio?

Which way do you think buyers end up buying your tracks more often? By finding one of your tracks individually by tag search or by looking through your portfolio? I’ve come to this question by wondering if adding more and more items to my portfolio will always continue to mean more and more sales. Because in the case that looking through the portfolio is a common thing, the more items I upload and the messier it gets and the harder it becomes to find the good ones. What do you think?

Thanks and sorry for the confusion! :D
