Here another fifty-year-old. I remember being thirty and it’s not an easy age when you’re not yet accomplishing what you want. I didn’t, back then, and can’t say I have yet, actually. Still plodding on though
I use a Line6 POD for electric guitars.
Well, it IS a very nice song, good luck with your sales!
I thought that watermarked clips were free for use. Who the hell wants to use that anyway?
I wonder if a 60 cycle hum has to do with pickups, that’s sooner a grounding problem. I have a shielded Stratocaster as well, but it still hums, were it not for the noise gate I use at my preamp. Make sure your TV is off when recording. Do you still use a CTR-monitor perhaps?
I have played both the PRS SE and Les Paul Studio and both could be good choices. I myself use a 1982 Ibanez Musician and a 1973 Gibson SG Special (with mini humbuckers) for the humbucking sound. The SG is an option as well, by the way.
You might want to think about (the cheaper series from) Gretsch as well, with their cleared sounding humbuckers. haven’t tried those myself though.
Until now I didn’t know that was possible at all! Well, of course, with other products you do have a return option for two weeks or so as well, but indeed, with this kind of digital product anyone could use it and then reverse it.
When I was sixteen my (classic) guitar teacher told me I was up for a better guitar than my 75 dollar Suzuki. I thought I should really go out there and spend 200 dollars. She told me: “No, go in the 350 dollar range” (we’re talking 1980 here, mind you).
She mentioned two German brands to me, Hanika and Hopf. Although she said that Hopf actually only was any good from 450 dollars upwards.
I actually found a Hopf at one store, which should have cost some 600 dollars, but it had a superficial dent in its top, so its price was reduced to 350 dollars. It sounded superb to me and I bought it.
To this day, 34 years later, this guitar still can sound great, although it is temperamental.
Amongst others, the lead of my very best selling song on Audiojungle is played on this guitar. This guitar has paid itself back on this site! I’ve made more money in coverbands with other guitars, but by far the most I got paid for my own music has been made with this first quality guitar I ever bought 34 years ago.
Very nice production, by the way
The unfortunate truth is that shampoo, cereals and happy stuff like that will have more advertising on TV and really, can you imagine a cereal add with doom metal? maybe with lyrics like “EAT THIIIIIIS !!!! (dj-dj-dj-dj) or you will DIEEEEEE !!!!!!!! DIE !!! DEATH !!!!! ARRRRRAAARRRRRGHHHH”
