Finally starting to assemble my new rig. I need to decide whether to go for a GeForce chipset or Quadro. Both have almost identical specs but Quadro is much more expensive. I know Quadro is supposed to be able to handle long-term usage better than GeForce, but that’s really the only major difference I see. I’m looking at GTX 770 or 780 vs. Quadro K2000
I’m not too into 3D quite yet but will hopefully be learning a bit more once I have the computer upgrade. Other than that I just need this video card to work well with AE and Element 3D.
Does anyone have any experience comparing the two chipsets? Let me know!
Oh and the rest of the computer is going to be:
CPU: Intel Xeon (six core 2.1GHz) Motherboard: Asus P9X79 LE ATX LGA2011 RAM: 32Gb or 64Gb (not sure yet) Storage: 500Gb Samsung SSD Storage 2: 1Tb crappy disk drive LOL
Better than last year’s July, but still bad! Down about 50% from the “normal” months.
For the Horror / Thriller category! God luck everyone!http://videohive.net/item/moon-horror-trailer/8371596
Sometimes it takes a day or so for a new paw to kick in.
Just like Aron said, it doesn’t have a professional appearance. There’s nothing wrong with it, it looks just fine, but for VH “just fine” isn’t good enough. Just keep working and practicing and in a couple weeks you’ll look back on this project and you’ll fully understand the rejection.
Nice idea! But kind of looks awkward and outdated. I know that’s a really overused reason for rejection but it really is the most common reason. Just work on your basic design skills. I like the idea for this one, but I don’t think it could really get any better. I’d suggest that you scrap the idea and come up with another idea.
All the best,
I understand what you’re saying, I agree. I don’t think all of the reviewers are pricing things based on the same standard. I have had many cases where I expected the price to be $15 and it ended up being $10 or it ended up being $25.
Good start, you’re heading in the right direction but… All of your projects could be easily made by most of the authors here in less than an hour. Videohive accepts templates that save buyers a significant amount of time – these three aren’t quite there yet. Keep working on your animating and design and you’ll get one approved!
The amount of traffic for the first two days on my new item is 1300% lower than the traffic just on the first day of a project I made a couple months ago. Yeah summer sucks.
