+1. This is depressing. And the statementer is not working because of them as well, they probably modified again something in the markup. Exactly on the last day of the month, f*cking brilliant idea!
Amazing milestone! Congratulations!
I answer all of them, no matter the number. They are rarely questions that take more than 30 seconds, as there’s no code involved whatsoever. It’s up to you after all, it’s a potential customer, if you are tired of answering his questions, you’ll lose him. If you think he’s got a good chance of buying, you can reply him and, perhaps, gain a customer. I’d say it’s pretty easy to answer pre-purchase questions rather than having one that actually bought the theme and “spams” my inbox.
But most of those who have multiple questions are asking most of the time about customization and I’m telling them right from the start that customization is not included within the package.
“Yes, it is”. They usually don’t continue.
You can still it to whoever you want, it’s your property, however, the Envato message doesn’t mean it will get approved, it means that it CAN get approved, you can’t sell “promises” like “it will get approved if you convert to WP”. That’s up to the buyer, if he can take that risk
You don’t have 30 different homepage demos and skins
This is how the world works, mate! This is a business, not a charity. Those 53 themes are not the only ones shown to the customers, every theme is visible, Envato promotes those 53 themes because those are the best-selling themes for the past week, which seems logical.
Just because someone works a lot for his item it doesn’t mean it should have the same amount of sales as Avada or Enfold or whatever else. If you want sales, invest in advertising, don’t expect Envato to do charity work and promote your theme. You don’t really expect all the themes to have nearly the same amount of sales This is how this marketplace and the world in general works.
That’s a poor idea, why would Envato promote unpopular themes to their customers? Of course they are promoting popular themes, that’s what sells! If you have 5 products from which just one is selling very good, when a new customer comes into your store, you don’t show your 4 other products first
Why are you all asking for items approved, experience, bla bla, when you don’t have any experience with ThemeForest yourself? (PSDs approved)
You want a hard-working person, then you prove you’re hard working and get your PSD’s accepted here.. and then you’ll have a totally different discussion here!
Any kind of shared host will be ok if you’re just starting, don’t get a VPS or a dedicated server as those require quite some knowledge and it’s just not worth it, since you’ll probably have at most a few thousands of page views a month, even if you’ll have an approved item.
You can check ASmallOrange’s shared host plans, they’re pretty cheap and good.
