Hello dear community!
I have some good news as some really big company just contacted me asking wether they can use one of my tracks and which license they should buy. The background story is the following: It’s one of the biggest mobile phone companies and they are writing this:
“For this time, we are making a XXXXXXX (name of the company) business core printing solution feature videos. At the moment, we are looking for the background music and I was wondering if I can use your music.”
For licensing issues, below is the information;*Music : Ukulele Whistle Commercial http://audiojungle.net/item/ukulele-whistle-commercial/6328979 *Title(Concept)of the video: XXXXXXX (name of the company) business core printing solutions feature video. *Media Type: XXXXXXX’s (name of the company) online website including YouTube and Social Network sites
They now ask me which license type they should buy – I copied the definition of the Regular License and the Extended License and wrote it into the E-Mail but now after their last reply it’s getting a bit complicated and I need your help:
“It is mentioned that both the Regular License and the Extended License options are permitted for the use of one single end product. But for our project, the video may be uploaded as one video or uploaded edited into 5 separate videos. I was wondering whether it is applicable to purchase the Regular or the Extended License in case like this as well.”
What do you guys think? Already a big thanks for the help!
I can’t complain – Together with my other account on Audiojungle I made 75 sales until now (600$). Christmas tracks sold well but the items that people tend to buy from my portfolio at the moment are usually from the Corporate catagory.
Congrats – Great idol for all of us!
