donchev I didn’t know you lived in Chicago? Did you just move there or have you been there all along?
Try killing the scrollbar completely and then creating a brand new one when you leave the audio.
FYI : The equalizer isn’t working on my FF3 but works on IE8 .
Nice look by the way
Edit: Menu open and closes correctly for me too
Edit Edit: No go on the FF3 refresh. Vista 64
Edit Edit Edit: Sorry, I don’t know what happened because I saw rimV’s equalizer the other day and then nothing too? I just reinstalled Flash and both are working fine now. Weird. Next time I’ll chigitty check myself before I wreck myself
the bug remains if your text is selectable and you select-drag the text. :/
Thanks, good to know.
I fixed it by using:
myTextField.mouseWheelEnabled = false;
I looked at the class and can’t believe I overlooked this
You know how a dynamic text field will sometimes sroll with the mouse wheel when it’s not supposed to? Does anyone know how to eliminate this behavior (besides increasing the height of the text field).
Haha Lance! You changed your shirt due to AwShucks’ inquiry
Played with this a little tonight and encountered something pretty weird. No matter what I did I couldn’t add the mouse events to the MovieClips being used for the MovieMaterials. That is until I got rid of the BasicView setup and did the setup normally.
One thing I don’t like is being forced to use MovieClips. I asked the PV3D guys why there isn’t a “SpriteMaterial” but I didn’t quite understand their answer. My argument for the SpriteMaterial is that Sprites are supposed to be faster than MovieClips and you need all the optimization you can get when working with the engine.
Check out Brimelow’s cube tutorial. He does it but in his example he drags 6 MovieClips with instance names to the stage, applies blend mode erase and then uses them as his faces. Then he is able to apply mouse events to the mc’s on the stage and they somehow get applied to the faces as well. I wonder if this is the only way to pull it off.
Make “up-size” uploads require the approval of the original author in addition to passing Flashden’s review process.
This would be a good idea.
