I wonder if an AS3 template would sell better than the same template in AS2 . Simply because the buyer knows they won’t be limited in what they can use for external swfs.

Spend six months working on SEO for a website; focus on local keywords. Give your website a business name so people call you (when they find out it’s just you 99% won’t care). Expect to struggle for the first year so save up some money to get you by.

And as far as hourly rates, I always ask, “Do you have a budget in mind for this project”. Many will take the bait and then you can let them know what you can do for them within their current budget.

Oh, so I would need a YouTube player then? I didn’t know that. I thought it was as simple as creating an area and then putting in the code from youtube.

My guess would be you can probably just load it into your template like you would any other swf.

Just extract the link from the embed code youtube provides. Even though it doesn’t end with ”.swf” it should work.
