many of the authors who sell their music here exclusively, are selling the same songs on other sites. exclusivity violation…... many of the (exclusive or non exclusive) authors here , are selling the same tracks on other sites, and when you take a look in the information of the songs you can see “registered by a Pro”. Not allowed.

Welcome to the matrix! :)

Well, I am calm, and curious as well.

Yea, actually there is. By Collis (the boss of this place) himself :) Anyway, I don’t know what’s so bad if couple of Muslim authors talk and wish all the best for their holy month. Peace brother :)

Collis made an exception here? When did that happen?

Good morning Matt and also many congrats from me for this very much deserved achievement. I have to admit I was kinda surprised that you didn´t have elite status until now as I don´t always check each badge from authors. Well, was just a question of time and overdue. Your music rocks! :)

This is not a common thing here, quite the opposite he has to link back to the music he used. If he doesn´t respond contact support and they will sort things out for you.

I highly recommend checking this guy below Marb. Despite being a promo for Ableton, I suspect you may find it quite eye opening, especially with your knowledge in sound design and sound effects. His name is Ben Lucas Boysen from Berlin and works under the name Hecq, producing Dubstep for the most part. He’s a very talented chappie, with a great deal of creativity and imagination.

Ha, crazy little world Matt. I know Ben from my many years in Berlin, he´s really a nice guy to hang out with. What I admired most about his work, that he not only managed to make great music under his moniker HECQ, but also has produced many tunes and sound designs for really big brands making the very same sound. No Uke, no claps and no glockenspiel. :) Just unique.

Theft is the biggest form of flattery….so they say! Ralf, I think it’s an unfortunate symptom of success having people trying to emulate or even copy your work, but my belief is that it establishes you even more as the originator. Soundalikes rarely rock the world like originals do, and your track is solid and rocking the world.

Thanks Cato, I know this saying. But I somehow have ambivalent feelings here. A few months ago someone pointed me to a track from an author who copied an entire song from me. The only thing he changed was one or two notes of the main theme, but apart from that, same song, same instrumentation, same arrangement, he even used the exact same reversed piano samples at the exact same position of “his song”. As you can imagine, it was hard for me to feel flattered at this moment.

Hi AudioQuattro, I just want to answer to this last comment, as you can see, I’ve stopped replacing to the same kind of answer about “hey man, it’s the famous 4 chord progression”..ok, it’s just the famous chord progression.

Luca, in this particular case this is just not true. It´s not about the famous 4 chord progression. In both intros, when the arpeggio is playing, there are no chords, there are just notes building a sort of melody or theme. This guy just ripped off this melody. What happens later in this track is not of interest here.
