Who will be next? Writers?? – you tag – romantic, love, sex, murded, happy end – press “WRITE” button and a novel will be generated??

That’s exactly how things are done in Orwel’s dystopian novel “1984” writen in 1949, music and books are generated by machines on kaleidoscope principle. The phrase “Big Brother is watching you” is from there. Looks like it’s starting to come true.

You can send me the loop in WAV format and I’ll convert it for you.

You should convert it into ACM or ADPCM, it’s a lossy WAV format of the same size as MP3 which loops seamlessly. Available within Adobe Audition.

We shouldn’t forget that even free projects now require the mass reproduction license if their number of digital/physical copies exceed 1000.

Well, It’s ten thousands, not a thousand. Do such free projects even exist?

So, what once cost $90 can now be purchased for $18? With the previous licensing system commercial end products required an extended license, but now regular license is enough: “Use in one end product, free or commercial”. 18 dollars license is okay for student projects, personal videos, etc, but allowing commercial use for such a symbolic price is wrong.

From my experience, when TuneSat gives you all those shows and channels where your music allegedly appears, it merely means that your music was used in a commercial that was aired there. Since neither cable TV nor viewers pay for commercials, no extended license is required.

Glad to see this timid little step in the right direction, now we’re getting reasonable. Hope that a lot of amendments are still ahead. BTW, Music Broadcast & Film License should consist of four figures.
