Do not engage to deeply with this kind of clients. In our start we launched our first html template, and we got heavily attacked from one client that blog in our template should worked we tryed to explain that this is not wordpress it is a html template the same as they cannot expect a psd template to be functional
It did not help, we got 1 star, bad comments etc.
Just thank him for his feedback and put him on ignore list in your support system

I agree, luck is major issue here. However I do pay for the platform, when I started it offered me what now I don’t have. So… getting less for the same value.
Things are just not getting better, this drop are being more often.
The saturation of the market brings high instability, a while back you could predict a lot of things and even if you were not among weekly most popular you could have good stable sales, you can still but it is much much harder.
There are just so many items and choices that either people run to the most popular list or buy those really standing out items.
