beepcode saidUnfortunately I often see (here or on another stock music sites) that absolutely muzzily made music (mixed, mastered) sells good if it just has corporate or commercial vibes. And lots of good tracks has 0 sales
Hi, Erick! Nothing prevents you to compose music that you like. If it is quality, then it will buy. Feature of commercial music that is created under the specific expectations of the target audience. Conclusion: no matter what kind of music you create, if it quality, the target audience is always there
Hi, SoundPalette! It depends on what music do you compose. You should think like a guitarist to make good guitar track. But if you just want to complete your composition with guitar sound – MOR or another plugin could give a good result
Hi, labnol! try this one http://audiojungle.net/item/inspiration-for-the-new-life/6480517
I set a page up there a while back, but as soon as I realised you can’t add clickable referral links back to our items, I gave up on it as it kind of defeats the object. Most people aren’t looking there for royalty free music anyway, and seem to be mostly comprised of Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga fans. YouTube and Soundcloud is where promotion should really be focussed, and use Twitter to promote your YT and SC links, as Twitter will allow the media to be previewable in the tweets.
Agree, Myspace won’t be helpful in royalty-free music promotion. Try to use filmmaking social networks (such a Stage 32) instead of Myspace
These (dead) accounts with 1-2 sales and 3 tracks in portfolio really become a serious problem, cause they just take away sales from an authors who really want to work. Ofcourse Envato don’t want to decrease number of authors, but may be they should accept authors only with numerous of tracks (10 or more for example).
Similar track soon will be reviewed. Just a few hours I hope
