Tip #22: Use search tags wisely, and effectively, and make sure they are all actually related and relevant to the item you are submitting. Think like a buyer who is entering search terms. What words relating to the style, mood, setting, feeling could be entered to find this item.

Tip #2: When making a tips thread, make sure to ask Envato to sticky it in the forum, otherwise it will eventually get lost because of the lack of a decent forum search system.

I will hopefully be heading to Melbourne at some point with the missus, I will gladly drop in HQ with a crate of beer to thank them on behalf of all of usGreat work AJ staff!
The AJ review team is in Canada, the UK, the US, Sweden and Romania. Not in Melbourne.
Thanks for the thoughts though! Now If you bring that crate to HQ the devs will be very happy.

You can suggest a title as you like, though note that anything too overtly suggestive, crude, crass or strong and blatant innuendo will be edited or modified with the option for you to choose something else.

A file update is MUCH faster than a support ticket, yes. Anyway it’s fixed now.

It’s always MUCH faster to do a file update via the edit tab, change a few tags, and state your title/category change request in the Notes to reviewer. It will get seen within minutes if not hours.
Note that you must make a small change, otherwise the update is processed automatically by the system and therefore not reviewed. If it’s not listed in the queue after it’s submitted, then the update was automatic and won’t be seen.
It’s not guaranteed that any change will be accepted though. Honestly in this case, Kaezer, the track you refer to imparts a more cinematic/sentimental feel. It’s not really “classical” music in its composition, and the review team would probably explain that to you if you submitted a ticket or an update, sincerely.

I suggest to use standart but differentiated hard rejection reason. For example: 1. Poor arrangement. 2. Dated sounds. 3. Overcompression. 4. Poor mixing. etc.
I wholeheartedly agree with this, personally. Thank you for voicing it. It has been considered, but because all the marketplace systems are interlinked it is not something that is yet deployed into system replies, I believe. I’m hoping that it will be possible eventually, because it would only add transparency for the author community.

With all due respect to everyone, please understand that Stock Audio Library != (does NOT equal) Music Critique Service. That is my personal opinion.
Just like authors have technical rules for submitting, the review teams have to follow technical rules for reviewing. We don’t make them up as we go along. Those rules can evolve and change, like everything else, and since they are internal protocols, they may not always be announced to the community. It’s not our job to criticize the way things are. Our job as reviewers is to inspect submissions and determine if they demonstrate enough commercial viability to be accepted in the library.
AudioJungle has had two kinds of rejections for a long time now. Soft rejections and hard rejections. Hard rejections no longer have specific feedback attached. Soft rejections continue to receive feedback.
What determines hard vs soft? The amount of alcohol you drink, yep.
Jokes aside, if a submission is deemed acceptable but there are technical submission errors, e.g. watermark missing, incorrect format, it is soft rejected. What about quality, you ask? Well, generally, if a submission’s arrangement or composition sounds like it can meet approval standards by tweaking one or two things, it will still get soft rejected with feedback. The opportunity to resubmit does not guarantee immediate approval though.
If, however, there are multiple issues determined with the production/arrangement/composition and/or performance etc, that diminish general commercial utility, it will be hard rejected and no additional feedback will be given. C’est la vie.
So the answer to your question is that you will get feedback only if the track is soft-rejected, henceforth. My best advice to you now is to follow Mihai’s advice and get some feedback from your peers before submitting, because reviewers will not be able to give you further critique if an item is hard rejected. And that’s not just for AJ, it’s on any marketplace here, and it goes for every author.
There will always be disagreements, and no one can ever please everybody. One day it’s why is the quality so low, the next it’s why did you reject my tracks??
As I’ve said before, it might simply be easier to have a YES or NO button that generates one line system emails, but that is not what Envato wants. At some point though, a balance point has to be reached.. Most people seem to think we’re doing ok though, despite everything.
And If you were not esteemed, Kurly, personally, I don’t think you’d be getting staff replies
Uspexov tebe, regardless.
